Feeling: Sickly

Holiday(s): National Talk like a Pirate day (hence the title) and Butterscotch pudding day

Icon: Kagome from InuYasha for two reasons: #1, my otaku bus student and I both like InuYasha and #2, when I am with my students, I am over the top and goofy like Kagome is in this picture. HEY! It makes life so much more fun and interesting! ;D

Greetings fellow Earthlings and aliens who can read English! 😀  Sorry I have been gone for a while! Although I LOVE my new position and I LOVE my students, I have been very busy and tired after work, too tired to update. And on the weekends, I edit my book, do chores, and school work.  Plus, it is starting the busy season for church from now until probably Easter.  But, I will make it!  Still, I apologize to my friends and I hope fans for being absent from my site.

Life wise, things are fairly good.  Like I started in caps above, I LOVE my students and working with them.  I run around a lot, but they always make me smile, inspire me at how they work despite their handicaps, and I love watching them grow little-by-little.  They make me a better person, even if just a tad, every day.  I also get to actually work in classrooms this year with amazing co-workers who also care for my kids and we have fun.  Sure, I am tired and there are always rough patches, but I love walking in, wondering what today will bring.  🙂  My bus kids are fantastic too, but they are keeping me on my toes.  It is nice to see and talk to kindergarteners again!  One of my bus boys LOVES anime and we talk about anime, manga, and voice actors all the time!  I will form a small student army of Otakus yet! Hehehe! <(‘.'<)

OH! Miles and I beat the end to Freddie Fish 5! It took us like 10 minutes…-_-;; But, one childhood item off our list! ;)- I am also trying to find free time for ME, which is what I was lacking last year.  I am able to read and play games a little bit more each night, which is a great stress relief and lets me connect to me.  I am so happy I finally beat Kingdom Hearts: Dew Drop Distance and I cannot wait for KH3!  ^.^  I got a fun idea for my friends involving ten dollar and Pokémon cards.  If or WHEN it happens, I will keep you posted! 🙂 OH! Here are my book updates:

Vampire: 4 (have 3 more I may read)= 4-7

Fantasy: 1

Fairy Tale: 2

Realistic Fiction: 3

Historical Fiction: 15 (sadly have not had time for those)= 15

Reference: 1

Children’s: 5

Manga: 4

Total: 35-38 left

My goal is to finish…Let’s say 15 books before the book fair at school in early November.  I hope I will make it this time.  Check out my goodreads page to see what books I have read since school started.  I am on book 5 for my school count! WOOT! 😀

There is always a few unlucky things though.  Money has been super tight this month, like trying to cram into a shoe that is 3 sizes too small for you tight.  I won’t bore you guys with details, but it has been a rough month and I am so lucky I have kind people and a supportive husband to help me.  I am happy I get paid Monday! I am going to budget like MAD! xD  My mom was also real sick a few weeks ago.  She couldn’t keep anything in her stomach for two weeks, not even water.  Her veins were popping out so bad.  It scared me! She is off the medicine she thought was causing it and being careful.  I sadly have to see the doctor next week for my medicine messing with my system too.  Hope it goes well.  I think I am getting a cold or a major sinus infection too.  I have been fighting it for at least 3 days. My throat is sore to the point that if I change my tone even a pinch, it cracks and dies for a minute , I feel hot (to my husband, which is saying something), my nose is stuffed up or I am sneezing madly, and my headaches have been killer.  But, I always get headaches before it rains and it has been a rainy week.  I know things could be worse and I am so grateful for the blessings I have, but I still want to be more financially secure and better health wise.

All right! On the Spirit Vision end of things.  I finished first edits a few weeks ago! 😀  The next week, I started second edits.  These are very different because we get into the deeper meaning of my scenes, characters, relationships, and so on.  Sheenah is a strict, but fair and loving publisher.  It is a lot of work, but she always makes me think.  🙂  So, I want to thank her for her patience.  I still cannot tell you a for sure release date, but we have one in mind.  That is all I can say for now.  ^_-  My artist, Suzy, is working hard on her manga and drawings.  Please check them out on her drop link under “My Books” page.  I ordered several pieces of her art a while back and I should get them soon.  I cannot wait to place them all over my apartment and classroom.  I have several at home! 🙂  I am currently 26% done with second edits (chapters 1 through 6 are done) and I will do chapters 7 through 9 second edits this weekend.  Wish me luck!

I added the tenth top ten!  YEAY! 😀  Check it out on my blog page to see what the topic is please. I also updated my Otaku page a little bit.  I hope everyone enjoys talking like a pirate for a few more hours.  Speaking of pirates! My husband is making me watch all the Mumpets movies.  I have only seen the newest one before this.  Now, I think I am caught up except for “Wizard of Oz” and “The Great Mumpet Caper”, which he has.  I was amazed at how there are only 4-6 voice actors for the main puppets!  I also bought some cheap movies from Family Video, ones I wanted.  I really liked watching Zac Efron in “The Lucky One”…;D

Well my minions, it is time for me leave for now.  Peace out soul brothers and sisters! *power fist in the air*

Icon: Sakura and Li from the final manga chapter.  I love this scene from my first and favorite anime and manga, but they had school uniforms, which is perfect for what I am talking about! ^.^ S+S FOREVER!!! <3

Yoyoyo! I hope everyone is enjoying their last days of summer.  Soon, the leaves will change colors, light jackets and boots will be the norm, and all the clothing stores will change their displays…*dreamy sigh*  Closer to my birthday too! I have been trying to have some fun since summer school ended.  I watched a lot of Fine Brothers React videos on Youtube; it is now I am getting my update each week on what is viral now! HA!  Been trying to spend some time with friends, my family, and Derrick.  Went shopping at Rainbow again with a friend and got a FANTASTIC green army camo jacket that she said made ME, young, innocent faced Morgan, look tough! 0.o Well, I HAD To buy it, plus it was comfy.  ^^ I also got a matching green camo shirt, both were on sale so I got both of them for $10!  It’s sad that I have been sleeping in until 8:30 or 9:00.  Going to work, waking up at 6:20 will be hard.  Although, last year, I had to wake up at 5:00 AM to go to school to ride the Special Education bus at 6:00 am! x(  I have the afternoon shift this year, which means I will not be back at school until 4:30, but at LEAST I can sleep a little more! The lack of it last year was really affecting me.

I have been trying to read a little more, but it has been hard to get back on track since summer school took so much time.  Here is where I am at on book count (not counting all the new books I got Saturday on my trip to the city with my hubby…):

Vampire: 2 (have 3 I may read and I also got 2 new ones, so any where from 4-7 total here)= 4-7

Fantasy: 2 ( plus one new one, so 3 total)=3

Fairy Tale: 1 (plus one more, so 2 total)= 2

Realistic Fiction: 4 (plus 2 new ones, so 6 total)= 6

Historical Fiction: 15 (sadly have not had time for those)= 15

Reference: 1= 1

Children’s: 5 (all new) =5

Manga: 4 (plus 6 new, although I read 2 already, making this four, so 8 I still have to read…ah, math!)= 8

So, for my summer goal, I still have 25 I did not get to, BUT considering I had 40 something at the start, I think that is not too bad! 😀 To those 25, adding my new books, I have 51 items to read!  And I WANT a lot more on my wish list! Geez! -_-;;  But, they are doing this thing now at school where we have to post what we are currently reading outside our door.  I want to see how many I can get! 🙂

Well, my brother and I got CLOSE to completing a childhood goal we never finished! If anyone has EVER heard or played Freddie Fish, PLEASE comment! Miles (my bro-bro) and I grew up with Freddie, Putt-Putt, Pajama Sam, and those HE characters! I would love to cosplay Freddie one day! Anyway, we never beat Freddie Fish 5.  By the time it came out, I was in middle school, but we still tried and it was TOO HARD! We never beat it! Well, the other day, we got it out, played for about 2 hours and were on the last section of the mystery, so proud of ourselves.  Then what happens! We get stuck, for 27 minutes, on this one part!  NO LIE! >.<  We got so flustered that we vowed to beat it next time.  I DID, oddly enough, find an HD Youtube walkthrough for the game.  I only looked at that part and we made such a simple mistake…I’m really using my college degree, huh?! But, we WILL beat Freddie 5 and now we are joking to mom about her getting us the other games we do not have to see if we can beat them too! 😉

Big news on my non-author life: I officially start my new position tomorrow as a Special Education paraprofessional! I still work for my amazing local middle school and am still hoping one day, I will get my own classroom in my degree (Early Childhood), but I work with great people.  I will be a shadow basically, helping and watching 3 kids in main stream classrooms and work with their teachers to accommodate for them so they can learn what is needed.  It will be MUCH different then trying to get 40-70 kids an hour to be quiet and do homework! -_-;;  AND…*drum roll* I HAVE A DESK! 😀  I share a room with a friend and we are having such a great time already, but I have a desk! No more cart to push around the building! >.<  I will post pictures of it on here soon.  One of my bosses kept apologizing for it being small…I hugged it and told her she had NO IDEA how amazing it was to have my own space that DOES NOT MOVE!  Another one of my wonderful co-workers/friends is doing study hall now and he seems relieved by this.  I wish him luck.  I hope everyone at my school will have a fantastic school year!  I promise to still tell everyone what weird holiday it REALLY is each day (BTW: Today is National Radio day)!  I also want to thank my friend and our library goddess, Mrs. Hensley, for making our staff photo, yet again, SO MUCH fun! We were Greeks, with the leaf crowns, fake grapes, an Emperor and Empress, gold décor, pillars and everything.  It was inspired by our Pillars for Characters Education this year…very clever! ^^  I even got a handful of white and gold flower petals from her and on the last photo, on the count of three, I had to throw them up in the air.  The camera flashed when I had my arms spread in front of me and a huge grin from laughing on my face…I’m nervous on how THAT looks!

On the book front, I have 3 more chapters to finish editing and then first drafts are FINISHED BABY!!! 😀  I made a deadline for me and my publisher for by the end of Sunday night.  Second edits will start then, where we do a lot of discussion…I’m more of a listener, so this will be interesting, but I will do my best! OH! Sheenah (my publisher) and I got to see a rough sketch of my cover idea by my artist, Suzy and it is BEAUTIFUL! Words cannot describe it! I cannot wait to share it with you guys although I hate to say it will be a while still. I will keep everyone posted on what is to come!

The top ten can be found on the blog page.  It will be my top ten favorite things about school. Also, make sure you check out the Natsu Con review on the blog section from a few weeks back.

Well, I am going to watch Whose Line, yell at myself for not working out like I REALLY need to, get my last minute stuff for my first day, and maybe relax if I have time.  Adios and stay fantastic baby!

Natsu Con 2013 Review

Random Fandom, Top Tens and Morgan's Fun ReviewsLeave a Comment

Look out Collinsville, IL!  Exactly 3 months from our departure for Anime St. Louis, we went to its younger sibling, NatsuCon!  This is our second year attending and my four con since April of 2012.  Not too bad huh?  We ventured off with our good friends Nathan and Tabby.  It was their 4th year at the con and it has only been around for 5 years.  🙂  We started the fun the evening before, on Thursday.  I got tickets for us for our local college theater’s production of Clue the musical.  It was mysterytastic!  Mrs. White was played by a tall gentleman and he was a riot!  The audience even got to pick the cards for the person, the weapon, and the room randomly and the actors, by the music, had to figure out who did it that night.  But, in the end, it was my awesome college choir teacher, who was playing the piano in the back!  xD  WHAT A TWIST!  The audience also got to try to play the game with the actors and the winners went into a hat and two got free Clue board games.  It was so great!  I was SO happy because I got a HUGE discount for all the tickets since I work at the college in the summer for College for Kids.  I got all our tickets for $6 when normally I would have had to pay $28! WOOT! >.<  I was SO tired that day though, working all day, staying late with my sub to go over the next day, and staying even later to make last minute copies and prep for the next week until I walked to the theater.  Still, it was a great kick-off to the con! ^_^

The ride there was smooth although we were 45 minutes behind schedule, but we still made it there a tad after 11:00 am (the con got moved up 4 hours from the previous year). Tabby and I went to get dressed in our cosplay.  I FINALLY got to be my Sailor V, Champion of justice! ^___^ Tabby wore her Alucard from Hellsing cosplay.  I got lots of high pitched shrills from girls and guys and tons of hugs and smiles, but hardly anyone took pictures of ANYONE this year!  It was so great being a character I love, but the weapons I made did not hold up well (the paint was peeling off), so I just put them in my purse and Arteritis would not be taped to my shoulder, so I carried him, which was hard to work around, but I got it after practice. Will talk more about my cosplay later.

The line was all the way around the side of the building and the main doors locked.  However, the lines were organized with those movie theater ropes into four sections and the lines on the side hall that is rarely used instead of looking like a wiggle worm in the middle of the convention center.  It was very organized and I am grateful for their time on that along with how they posted what was in each room outside the room itself along with times! So, Natsu Con, YOU ROCK FOR ORGANIZATION! 😀  10 out of 10 stars and the most organized I have seen a set-up so far.  ^.^  It took no time at all to get in line.

We had a little time to walk through the halls, where the artists were.  They were amazing and bubbly as always.  Last year, with them being on the side of the hallway, it was cramped, so I was worried, but it was not too bad this year.  I even got some Pokémon, homemade of coarse, plushies BEFORE the con started! I am SO BAD! >.<  I got a baby Ninetails, a baby Glacion (since I have the ears), a really rad looking Magikarp, and a kawaii Vaperon, all for $15, which was great.  🙂  However, the vendor’s room was not open until 4:00, which was odd.  I am curious why, but once it was open, they were good and I liked how it had more space they had compared to Anime St. Louis.  There were a good chuck on new vendors, which is nice for us locals. 🙂

The opening ceremony had the same MC as last time and he was, once again, FULL of energy and amazing.  Not too crowded in there since most cons start at 4 or 5 and it was noon.  Nothing flashy, but good fun.  I DID like the game show host who took a picture of all of us and was so happy and funny! ^_^  I will give it at 8 out of 10 stars.

Next was Samurai Jillian’s stage show.  I have seen her and Dan do it together twice now, so this was my third time, but this was her first con alone (Dan double booked them…-_-;; BUT! Dan was with VIC that weekend! GAH!).  She had 5 helpers though, all awesome, along with her two Akita doggies who were so sweet and fluffy! *fan girl shrill*  xD  But, I did tape the highlights of the stage show and its on YouTube.  She did amazing and I could tell she had so much fun doing Dan’s part at the end.  Jillian, you are amazing! ^_^  I also love how they interact with the audience.  At the end of the stage show, which was only a half hour, they sold DVDs and had 3 new ones.  They also sold fan buttons that Jamie, her main assistant AKA Sneaky Ninja, drew.  One has Jillian chasing Dan with a sword and the other has Dan holding a shiny sword above Jillian’s head because she is obsessed with shiny things (ADOS).  I got both buttons and for the first time, Jillian did autographs! YEAY! 😀  I got her to sign the shiny one and am saving the chasing one for Dan to sign.  I also got a picture with her in my Sailor V outfit, however, my mask was falling off something awful (later I fixed this with top stick on my face in the hotel room…odd), so sorry the picture it not that great.  10 out of 10 for Jillian!

We went to St. Louis bread company after that for lunch.  MAN! It’s expensive and, please do not kill me fellow Missourians that I love <3, but I was not impressed.  My sandwich was so expensive and did not taste that great at all.  Derrick said the same thing about his.  However, my soup was fantastic and so was my muffie (I got corrected by the clerk when I called it a muffin for they told me they do not sell those). This was my first time in there so now I know.  The food was stuck in my stomach all weekend and everything else piled on top of it.  If you have ever had that happen, it sticks! >.< I got to see our guest cosplayer, who dressed up at human Ariel in her blue dress.  She was a sweetheart and was gushing over my outfit earlier when I asked for a picture.  She waved at us in the restaurant.  🙂

After this, we dropped off some items to our hotel room.  Forgot to mention: we decided to go all fancy and stay at the Double tree, which is literally across a little bridge and the parking lot from the convention center.  That was nice, but the price…not so much.  We even got a deal for Natsu.  We did get kawaii little card keys for our room with a red panda holding Japanese fans on it and we got to keep it along with share a cookie.  It was a nice room and nice to be so close along with using the quick pass (I will explain that later).  However, I hated that if you wanted breakfast, it was $18+ per person EXTRA, A DAY! >.<  We got milk and cereal, but I could tell no one was really in the mood for it so breakfast, for me personally, was a bust.  I honestly would rather spend the $65-70 max a night with free breakfast a night at our Days Inn and drive or walk the 2 super short blocks it is.  I DID love that they had cleanest room contest for the con-goers and the 3 cleanest rooms would get a prize.  I suppose it wasn’t us for we did not hear from anyone, but we thought it was a nice idea to get a good clean-up.  We even left High-Chews (basically a Japanese Starburst) on the bed, instead of a mint, with a note to thank them.  I would rate the hotel a 6 out of 10, mostly for price.

Went back and explored the artists some more (the vendors still were closed).  After this, we went to the AMV contest.  This is you watch all the anime music videos people made and submitted for Natsu’s contest.  The internet was giving them issues, but the set up was much bigger than last year, which was an improvement and I loved how many videos there were! We saw all, but the master class.  They still had a lot of fine tuning, viewing the videos wise, to work on, but the entries were all wonderful; I did not see one I did not like! ^_^  My friend Tabby did a fantastic job too! Woo!  I would give this 7 out of 10 stars just for the set-up, but like I said, the set-up was SO much better than last year’s.

The vendor’s were open by then, so we explored and there were TONS of Eevee items at several of the booths, all a tad different from the next.  I went Eevee nuts, but not as much as some.  It is always hard to take everything in the first day.  I promise I got more than my poor wallet wanted me to. ;)-

After this, we went to Samurai Jillian’s Ninja Sword class, which is where if you want, you get a wooden sword and she trains you for an hour on the history, reasoning, blocks, and attacks of the ninja and you get to carefully try them on each other.  I get scared too easily, so I did not do it, but I filmed Derrick, Nathan, and Tabby’s group doing it.  It seemed to me they had a great time and I loved listening to Samurai Jillian’s directions with her information and humor.  Once again, 10 out of 10 for her!

None of us were super hungry, so we ordered pizza.  The local place I wanted to try that said they delivered on-line apparently does not, which made me sad, so we settled for Pizza Hut.  It was good, not great, but good (I am used to Dominos or Little Creasers).  The reason I do not get them is, sadly again, price.  It was almost $18 for a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza! >.<  The pizza was not fully cooked too and the bread Tabby was kind enough to share with me was surely not (super doughy, although the spices were tasty).  But, the coke we all shared was great, LOL! ;D  After this, we played Uno until we had to go back.  It was a new Uno with a new card that made us all mad…-_-;;  Tabby and I changed out of cosplay (Derrick stayed in his) and we headed back to the center.

We were on our way to one event I was super looking forward to: Anime Hypnosis!  ^_^  I friended (I suppose that is the right way to phrase it) the hypnotist, Mr. Brandon Elliott, on Youtube and linked all my videos of him to his page.  He is so cool and talented at what he does so I wanted the world to know! 🙂  I asked him kindly that if I filmed him again (this would be my third time), if he would consider hypnotizing my friends.  Well, we thought it started at 9:00, according to the schedule, but it was at 8:30 and that was the time we walked in, the second he asked for volunteers! >.<  I was nervous they would not get picked, but he grabbed Nathan, Derrick, and Tabby on stage.  I ran to the front row on the side, wearing my Glacion ears (I think I told him I would wear Pokémon ears a while back…).  No one was near me, but I already had my camera in my hand and was turning it on when he smiled and ran over to me (still on stage) and whispered “Sakura Star 07?” (That’s my Youtube name).  I nodded and he got happy and announced to EVERYONE, a crowd of close to 100 con-goers, about how I have been filming and posting his work, how I was doing it again, and asked everyone to give me a hand, which they did happily.  My camera had to turn on when he said this so I got it on tape.  I just nodded awkwardly and tried to smile without blushing…-_-;;

ANYWHO! 😀  Derrick and Nathan sadly could not get hypnotized and went to sit by me while I filmed.  He had about 20 people up there, him in a LARGE room (in fact, the MAIN room this time; big time there Mr. Amazing Elliott?!  ^^) and normally, he tells us that one fourth to one third, so 5 our of 7, will not go under.  When he had his clear group, he only had 5 who went under! 0.o  So, three-fourths of the people did not go under.  I was nervous for him, but, as always, he was a delight, funny, safe, and playing along with whatever happened.  Tabby, however, DID got under and BIG! She was a gem and one of the 2 most vocal.  ^_^  They did try a few new things, which was fine, but I still love the classic Pokémon, hot springs, gender bending, and K-Pop (this time it was a 5 headed singer, which was a hoot and a half! They all even crashed together at one point! >.<).  I just wish Mr. Elliott had more people go under since he had to cut it a little short, but again, a riot and it is even better when you personally know someone up there.  Mr. Elliott was is so nice and I hope he does this for a long, LONG time!  He is a treasure. The room was a little easier to pan around, unlike Anime St. Louis, which I like.  I will give him a 10 out of 10 and be ready to film his work and promote him for all time! 😀

Tabby was really wired after being hypnotized and kept hugging her guy, Nathan, all night, calling him sempai because she was hypnotized to! It was adorable and goofy all at once.  Nathan loved it.  Originally though, Derrick would have been next to Tabby and have that attention, but since I knew it was coming, I told him and the two switched.  What was funny is one of the assistants was nervous Nathan was taking advance of a hypnotized girl (which, by his eyes worrying, has happened before, which is so sad).  I told them they were dating and we all shared a laugh.  We got to bed earlier than we thought, but we needed it.

Woke up Saturday around 8:30.  I sadly woke up at 6:45 so I took my time getting ready for the day and read a book I had been trying to finish for over 2 weeks (summer school).  We all ate breakfast, Tabby and I cosplayed, and were ready to set off, Nathan with his dog from Cowboy Bebop that he fell in love with (I still think my fuzzy bear that is cosplaying as a duck is cuter, but…^_-).  Tabby wore a cosplay she worked hard on making and was entering in the cosplay contest.  It was Koto from YuYu Hakusho the fox demon announcer.  She skinned and tanned the tail herself! 0.o  I once again went as Sailor V, my mask issue solved thanks to top stick.  However, my wig was falling off ALL day and by 5:00ish, it was so bad that I had to take my whole cosplay off.  🙁  I will work on that for next year.

We explored the vendors and artists for about 90 minutes and Derrick and I headed off early to get a good seat for the Voice Actor Q & A.  Natsu managed to grab Clairine Harp and Jeremy Inman.  Ms. Harp is famous for China on Hetaila and Mr. Inman for Android 16 on Dragon Ball Z (the original).  We got there early and I got to be in the front row, which was incredible.  They came out with coffees, comfy chairs, and Mrs. Harp ready to knit socks (one of her favorite things to do) while talking to us.  I look around and the main room only had, like 10 people, for them! 0.o  My heart broke and Derrick and I were both in shock!  Voice actors normally get at least 50 people at their group Q & A’s, even small cons like ours and I know Ms. Harp is well known for China!  They were so awesome, talking about the industry and playing around.  About 20 minutes after it started, about 10 other people showed up so there was 20 people in all.  Still not right for their talent and kindness! >.<  I did feel bad.  I had my video camera ready to film it and Ms. Harp spotted me and stopped, asking “Excuse me, is that a video camera?”  I was so nervous, but I told her it was and she asked very nicely if I could not film her; it has always made her nervous.  My face was so red and I felt AWFUL, making her even slightly uncomfortable.  I apologized many times, hiding my head, and turned it off immediately.  I would have liked to film the session, but I respect her space too much.  They were amazing and I wish the fans could have seen that.  I give the panel an 8 out of 10!

Next was a self-defense class with Samurai Jillian.  This is one I really wanted to go to for I am not very strong and I wanted to know how to defend myself if the situation occurred.  I was not very good, but I did my best and Derrick was very patient with me; him and Nathan got them almost right away while the helper, Sneaky Ninja Jamie, had to help me a lot.  However, Derrick did baffle her by how it took HER five good moves before he felt it at all.  She said it is rare, but some attackers’ nerves might not feel it as quickly as most so to keep trying.  I hope to practice more.  9 out of 10 stars.  And yes, the doggies were there, peeking out from under the table, looking adorable!  ^-^  By this point, my wig cap somehow snapped UNDER my wig, messing it up and there was nothing I could do other than take it off and try again, which was too much work.  I suffered with it a tad longer. 🙁

After this, we all got a quick bit at Subway, always good. ^^  We then headed to the main event room for a new panel by Samurai Jillian and her crew: The Ninja Olympics!  It was a lot of fun to listen to.  First, we were split into two large groups and named our teams. We were *had to say it in a deep, throaty voice* Team Batman and the other team was team Velociraptor (they even had this cool move where they stood on one leg, did raptor claws, and made a high pitch shrill).  The Olympics basically were fun and crazy games, all indirectly helping us with ninja skills.  Some of the games were balancing a full cup of water on your body, bouncing a balloon without it falling, dodge ninja stars (like dodge ball), and others.  Nathan and Derrick even got to compete!  They had to do a close race.  Nathan crab walked while Derrick hunched over him and they had to walk and race as one.  Good thing they have known each other for so long! 😉  They got second and one point for our team (who won at the end).  They got a prize and Derrick got a pair of toy Nunchucks (which are now on his desk).  When they were racing, Samurai Jillian asked for the stronger one to probably be on top and she yelled “Derrick!”  It made me laugh at how she picked MY guy, lol! This was fun, but just a tad too crazy for me, but since it was their first time ever doing it and they chose to share it with Natsu, nice job! 9 out of 10 stars!

After this, Tabby had to get in line for the cosplay contest she was in and Derrick and I raced to the side room for autographs from Ms. Harp and Mr. Inman.  OMG! If I thought only 20 viewers for them at the Q & A panel was sad, then only having 6 people waiting for them at 5:00 on the dot like I was is a disgrace to humanity! -_-;;  Even Nathan was surprised as he sat down and waited for us.  OH! And my choker decides to snap right when I am in line, near Mr. Inman… >.< I was the 5th one and did not see any more come in, but they took us right away, all us fans of looking around to make sure this was right, that these great people only had us handful of fans.  🙁  So, I got Mr. Inman first.  The girl in front of me asked if he could sign it “Stay awesome.”  He smirked and did.  I went to him, all shy (I always get nervous and shy when I am asking for autographs) and asked him to sign my panda bag,  I started having as many con guests as possible sign it so I will have a collection.  He looked at and smiled, finding the leg (he is the first; everyone else has signed the space above or beside him) and signed it “Stay Awesomer! and then his name”.  ^_^  I called him sir and thanked him (so far, he has been the only one not to mind I do that).

I then went to Ms. Harp, who was smiling.  I asked her to sign my panda bag and she lite up, grabbing it and said “Of coarse! I’m freakin’ China!”  I cracked up at this, at how honest she was, and she signed it “China forever!” then her name, RIGHT ON HIS HEAD!  I love it! <3 😀  I also just bought myself my expensive gift for the con: a $35 Espeon hat that I love and I asked her sign it (Monica Rial signed my special Usa-chan bunny from Ouran, but was nervous about ruining it).  As Ms. Harp was gladly signing it, I apologized immensely for filming her, telling her I had no idea she did not to be filmed.  She waved her hand and gave me a sweet look, telling me something that blew my socks off. “No, I actually wanted to thank YOU.  You are the nicest one I have ever dealt with.  All my other fans get angry, some even yelling at me, enraged.  You were by far the nicest about me being weirded about being filmed, so thank you.”  First, I was thrilled and delighted she was thanking me, second, shocked she was thanking me for being a human and respecting her space, and three, disappointed in all the fans who did that to her.  She is doing us a service with her talent and as our guest and should be treated better.  I did have one more thing and I looked behind me, worried I would make someone mad.  Mr. Inman cackled and told me “What line?”  I normally draw a picture for all the voice actors I meet with characters I know them as, thanking them.  This year, I had no time and Ms. Harp was announced less than 2 weeks she was coming BEFORE the con, so that didn’t help.  I knew she was mostly known for China, but I betted although she was grateful to China, she did not want to be known as one character.  Plus, I knew she was part Chinese and did not want to offend her by drawing a whole bunch of Chinese things, the main role I know her as.  So, I read on her bio that she LOVES bunnies and has several.  So, I drew 7 anime bunnies with different expressions and colors.  The title was “What happens when Ms. Harp comes home from an anime con…” and they all are saying things, each having something to do with a con.  I added a picture of it below.  She seemed to really like it and was gushing over one who I colored white with black spots everywhere.  She said her grandma had a bunny who looked exactly like it! She motioned me to lean towards her and look at the phone with her; I was in Otaku heaven! ^___^ Lastly, I got a picture with her. Sadly, my wig was bloody AWFUL at this point, so I look, honestly, horrid, but I still have memories and I was so glad I got to meet and chat with these two grand people. I changed out of cosplay super fast after this and then off to the cosplay contest!

We went to the cosplay contest next and MAN, that line was long! Literally EVERYONE goes to this! However, our Double Tree key cards (since the hotel as a deal with the con), counted as fast passes, which meant we got to go to the front!  That was pretty rad! 🙂  We got decent seats on the side and I liked how they had the front rows reserved for the cosplayers when the finished so they could watch.  I personally really liked all the 25+ costumes I saw (Tabby was darling! ^.^) and the skits were all good.  Yet, Tabby said several of the cosplayers were up to 20 minutes late and the judging over 2 hours due to people being tardy.  This made the whole event at least 20 minutes late to even start when they were very clear when the cosplayers needed to be ready. *sighs*  It was sad and several did not stay at the end to get their awards, which I think they need to.  I hope they make some stricter rules next year.  I loved the cosplays, loved the skits, loved the judges, and loved the MC, so I will still give it a 7 out of 10 stars.

We went to Golden Carrel next.  It was much better than last time, but my stomach still felt off from St. Louis Bread the previous day.  We really wanted to go swimming, but we were all tired and it was 8:40 by then in the evening.  I was passing out on the bed as I cuddled with Duck Bear and tried to take a power nap.  It must have worked because I recall Derrick kissing me, telling me they were going and then the next thing I know, I’m awake and no one is near by.  I try to watch TV, but I cannot focus.  After about an hour, I drift off again until they call and tell me to open the door.  I missed the dance.  🙁  They informed me that honestly, it was not as lively as it normally was, but I still like the lights.  Anyone who was there, I hope you had a great time and I will hit it, even if just for 10 minutes with my bubbles and balloons I even brought,  next time! ^.^  They also went to Samurai Jillian’s 18+ panel, Cards against Humanity, which is a board game that is apparently an 18+ version of the Big Bang Party Game (if you have never played that, it is one of the BEST investments I have ever gotten in my married life! SO FUN!), but Derrick said it was even a little to crud for them. After this, we all tried to sleep; it was well past midnight.

We all woke up groggy Sunday morning, but I slept a little bit more (still the first one up).  We ate breakfast (no lunch for us that day, but a large supper on the way home), packed and cleaned well, hoping to win the contest, and headed to the con.

Tabby and I went to a panel about easy to make with American ingredients Japanese food (other than sushi and ramen).  We even got to taste it and it was yummy! ^.^  It was a little disorganized, but the lady was the nice co-chair for the whole con, so she was BUSY!  🙂  I give it a 8 out of 10 stars and I have a book to look for at the Japanese culture festival this fall.

Lots of exploring; it got a tad old for I wish I had more money, but I made sure I was happy with what I got.  🙂  I still have yet to get a kimono, but ONE DAY! >.<  After this, we followed the fuzzy puppies and got to pet them, watch the do tricks, and feed them as Samurai Jillian told us about the Akita breed (her two dogs are them.  Their names are Naya and Kuma).  The stories were so cute and the history interesting.  She totally sold me that if I want a bigger dog one day (although I am prone to little dogs), then it will be an Akita.  Derrick LOVED them! 😀  It was funny how Derrick was calling the dogs and they were ignoring him and Nathan, but when I said their name and clicked my tongue, they came to me and even lingered for a second so I could pet them.  Naya LOVED Tabby’s shoes (she works at a vet clinic) so much that it took two helpers to get her to get off of Tabby’s shoes and stop rolling on them.  At the end of the panel, Tabby had treats for the dogs and Samurai Jillian was answering questions.  I saw Kuma (the boy) standing by Jillian and by impulse, I patted his bottom lovingly, like I do with my little dogs.  Now, the second I felt his fur, my body flinched because I was thinking “Oh crap! This dog can pull 400 pounds like it’s NOTHING! He could bite my hand off (they are also double jointed if you did not know that).”  Kuma-kun looked at me, sat immediately, and gave me the sweetest eyes, asking me to do it again.  I laughed, seeing he is a big baby like my babies and I gave him light belly rubs, which he loved.  These puppies are adorable and I hope to see them at every con as the mascots! 10 out of 10 stars!

Tabby, Nathan, and Derrick took a whack at the Samurai Sword class, but I could not film it for I was out of film.  🙁  Still, they had a fun time and plenty of extra swords, the helpers trying to get me to do it, but I was in charge of guarding stuff.  People kept coming up late and the poor aides would have to catch them up on everything real fast and some were not nice to the assistants, which made me upset.  I would give this one 8 out of 10 stars as an observer.  We had a blast afterwards with Jillian talking about cosplaying and Avatar (she was impressed I knew the names of several of the characters; she loves Appa, like me!).  😀

After this was the closing ceremony, which was small, but SO friendly and fun! We even had a surprise proposal!  IT WAS SO KAWAII!!!! <3 to the new couple!  The video is on my Youtube.  ^-^  I had some extra room on my SD card for my camera, so I switched them to get the closing ceremony.  We, of coarse, ended with a sing-a-long.  Not many of us knew it, but it was fun and taking another picture thanks to the game show host was rad.  We talked to some artists, packed up, and after our cooler leaked, but we fixed it before we took off, we headed home.

We ate a dinner at Cracker Barrel (after having a ten minute delay because we hit St. Louis traffic), which is always amazing and then headed home, super tired from the fun weekend.  Collinsville, thank you for opening your doors for us Otakus once more and Natsu, you were so organized and kind; we love you!  Guys, please check out my Youtube for over 60 videos from the con, most all the events I listed above.  Also, if you facebook, they have a page: NatsuCon.  Check that out too for information for next year’s even.  Here is their site too: http://www.natsucon.org/ I look forward to next year!  <3 =D  I hope you will have more people and higher spirits.  The guests and staff were the best, but honestly, the goers as a whole did not have their spirits up and it did affect the aura.  Cheer up con-goers! I love you and next year, we will rock this con so hard that Japan will hear us and join in; let’s make a pinky promise! <(‘0′<)

Konnichiwa Minna-san! 😀  I has been AGES! Here, I was complaining how June slipped away and I breathe and July is gone. 0.o  I suppose teaching summer school all month will do that to a person.  I haven’t had time for anything fun after Natsu Con; I’d work then come home, do lesson plans for the next day, and fall asleep.  No time to take my daily walks, touch my game or even READ! I didn’t touch a book for TWO WEEKS! >.<  I even had to wait 2 weeks to do edits for I HAD NO TIME! x(- *passes out* But, I always enjoy working at College for Kids and I will tell you guys all about it, but first, let me tell you what I updated: I added THREE new Top Tens to my blog section, one for each of the three weeks I missed.  Top Ten #6 is about Japanese culture since I taught my Japanese class that week and went to the con too.  Top Ten #7 is for my Percy Jackson class and Top Ten #8, although Japanese based, also goes with my cooking class for that last week.  I am updating on my main page here about what I, MORGAN, have been up to, and after this or sometime today, I will add a DETAILED with photos blog all about NatsuCon 2013.  ^_^  So, get prepared!

On the book front, last time I was starting chapter 10 edits.  Well, I finished chapters 10-12 before I left for Natsu on the 12th of July and I finished chapters 13-14 yesterday.  We are getting CLOSER! 😀 Yeay!  I also started talking to my cover artist, Suzy, about character design, so that is starting to take affect.  Nothing else now to report, but things are moving, right?  Now that I have time, I really am looking forward to more editing and I have until the 14th until I start my new paraprofessional (teacher’s aide) job for my middle school in the special education department!  I even got a small pay raise! WOOT! 🙂

College for Kids:

Week One: I taught two four hour classes: Around the World in a Week and The History of Ruling the World (the Egyptian section.  My friend, Alesha, taught the Roman part).  The Around the World class is a new one and it was okay.  It had a lot of cooking in it and although the recipes were good, we hardly had time for all the crafts and information I wanted to get through. The students were great, but cooking classes still stress me out and I found out, the hard way of TRYING this, that I do NOT have a gift for languages!  >.<  I was so messed up and tongue tied. Although I spent a lot of time on this class, I did not feel good about it so I think I will take a break from it for now and if I want to try again in a few years, we got it.  I did enjoy listening to all the foreign music, making our around the world globe with all the 12 flags we discussed, the final products of cooking, and the kids reactions yelling at my in Australian or British accents or when they got to use paint all over their projects!  I then had a two hour break, but if you have ever cleaned up after cooking…It. Is. A. MESS!  It took me over an hour to clean up and wash dishes, which I had to do in the girl’s restroom tiny sink for the only room with a sink was being used for testing college students the whole time. -_-;;  It was strange.  Alesha and I were co-teachers for the afternoon class. She taught the Roman part first and then I would compare and contrast her lessons with the ancient Egyptian way.  I had material for four days instead of three, but with Fourth of July being on a Thursday, we only got 3 days.  Alesha and I had a lot of fun with this class so I want to do it for four hours again, but four days next year.  I know the kids liked wrapping each other up like mummies, making fun of each other’s Gods, stretching out like the sky goddess Nut has to, and laughing at the god of hills, Bun-Bun (no lie; that’s his name…).  They told me they really liked my part of the class, but wished we had more time. We will work on that young ones! ;D

Week Two: I taught a Basics in Babysitting class in the morning and House of the Rising Sun, a Japanese class, in the afternoon.  My Babysitting class is one I normally teach on Saturdays for my boss, once in the Fall and once in the spring, but I thought it would work in the summer too and it made.  I had 10 very good young ladies. Each day, we take a topic and have volunteers come in to help us.  Monday we cover basics from how to start the business, interviews, attire, manners, punishments, questions to ask, siblings, compromise, and more.  I make them act like the kids or I will do it so they can see what it is like to get a child’s head.  Tuesday we made business cards and I taught them what to put on them and their flyers.  I had a very kind young lady show me a easier site to use than Microsoft word and you could save them on a free account and buy them later if desired.  Wednesday, one of my high school friends brought her 2 year old in. He was super shy and liked to say “no” to everything, which was a GREAT thing for the girls to learn.  He did enjoy telling them what areas of the room to clean up.  🙂  We discussed toddlers, bed time, potty time, and school age kids as well. Thursday, my friend brought her 5 month old daughter in, who is so adorable and well behaved! One of my students asked her teacher to come in and she brought her 18 month old daughter that day too.  It was so much fun to play games with them and watch the mom’s change them and their clothes.  We also talked about SIDS here and sleeping rituals along with how to prepare a bottle or baby food.  My Japanese class is one of my favorites!  ^_^ Day one, we learn basic words, suffixes, culture, numbers, about sakuras, schools, Fiji-san, how to play Fruits Basket, and more.  Tuesday was art day where they learned about kimono and saw mine (some tried mine on), created manga in teams (some were sad when they did not have time to read them and they got SO into making their mangas! My only requirement was there was one chibi and an expression mark.  I had several resources for them to use), haiku, heard a Japanese folktale, and colored a kimono pattern. We ran out of time for origami.  🙁  Wednesday was food day where I wore one of my Chinese dresses (which I can not wear again; it was WAY too tight and I hurt my arm getting it on…), they learned how to use chopsticks by eating rice and ramen, sat proper style on the floor, learned to serve tea the right way, did a Samurai chopstick focus test, saw all the different types of bentos I had along with their accessories, learned about different types of fish dishes in Japan, and made candy sushi, which they LOVED! 😀 Thursday was Entertainment day.  They watched a subtitled and dubbed anime, saw my cosplays as I explained what it was, and got to play in a crazy Japanese show game we created, making team headbands, mascots, colors, and poses.  They also learned the “Sayonara” song from “I survived a Japanese Game Show” (THEY LOVED IT AND SOOOOO NEED TO BRING THAT BACK!).  We had a guest speaker too; one of my students’ great-grandfather was stationed in Japan in World War II and her grandfather brought in pictures and a real yukata.  Lastly, we had a graduation ceremony where I gave them a certificate, a hug or high five, and a piece of Pokey and a Japanese Carmel. Friday was the start of Natsucon of this week, so I had a CPR trainer come in and train my girls in Babysitting in first aide and CPR and Alesha subbed for my Japanese class, doing holidays. I called my Japanese students from the con while Samurai Jillian was setting up and they were all excited to hear from me! HA!  The con will be on its own separate blog later. ^_^

Week Three: I taught Percy Jackson’s Mythology: The Sequel in the morning (I normally also teach a Percy Jackson Mythology 101, where I cover the Big 12 and Hades, Persephone, and Pan along with well known Greek monsters, but it didn’t make.  Also this year, I decided to offer Percy Jackson’s…in 3D, a third Percy class with even MORE minor gods, along with a few Roman this time, Greek heroes, and cursed mortals, but it also didn’t make.  Here’s to next year!). In the afternoon, I taught Magnificent Medieval. Percy had tons of craziness!  Each student gets to pick one Greek figure from my Family Tree to be their Godly parent for the week and get their parents from then they made a sky cape (for Uranus) telling about themselves and their/parent’s powers.  Monday we did Titans.  Tuesday and Wednesday we did minor Goddesses and Gods along with some deities.  Thursday we finished deities and did forgotten ones, such as Helios and Selene.  There are TONS of Greek figures I missed, but I tried to pick ones in the Percy series or ones I found really unique, like Dike, the goddess of mortal justice or Hygienia, the goddess of hygiene. Friday, we get in teams of three (lucky number for quests in Greek culture), make weapons with recyclables, supply list, do battle poses, and have epic quest outside, pretending these GIANT trees are monsters.  We also, of coarse, have s’mores; we ARE at Camp!  😉  I also make them pretend that all the college students are monsters and if they are seen, they could lose their lives (if you read Percy, EVERYONE is a suspect on hurting a demigod!)  Some kids got SO into their quests, they rolled down the hill or broke their weapons, but they always have a blast.  I had SO much more to do with them, but with 12 kids, mostly goofy boys, it’s hard to get everything done.  At least they became warriors and I hope this will get them excited to take the other classes next year.  Magnificent Medieval is about the Middle Ages.  I only had four this year, but I liked it for we bonded quickly.  We learned fun facts about the era, how to speak (yes, huzzahs and thees were apart of this), how to write, journal entries, created a coat of arms, jobs at the castle (which they drew from a bag; I was the scribe and our boss got to be Queen again), and they wrote their own skit to perform for their parents that Friday.  Tuesday we talked about knights.  We learned about weapons, inventing a new one, armor, made shields, swore the Knights oath and learned how to sword fight like a Knight, and practiced our skit. Wednesday was castle day. Learned the part of the castles, what they were used for, and created our own with recyclables, but it sadly fell apart on them.  >.<  They later made a quick well with a grave yard around it.  Thursday we talked about windows and stain glass, making our own mosaic, practiced our skit with props several times, made and danced around a May pole, learned and played Kay-lees (Medieval bowling), and had a mini performance for a set of parents for one of my students had to go to church camp that Friday.  Friday we practiced A LOT on our skit, sword training, May Pole, and Kay-lees to show their parents.  I only had 2 students that day because one was at camp and another got sick! So, my boss’ daughter came in and played BOTH their parts! BLESS HER HEART! My kids did AWESOME and we had a great time with the parents, who actively played with us.  We even sword fought out to the Harlem shake.  Yes, I WENT THERE!  I liked these kids and had fun geeking out with them.  One of them, who will be too old for the program next year, him and his parents asked if he could back next year and be my helper, something we are thinking about doing next year.  I was so happy to hear this and hope we can get helpers! 😀

Week Four: This was my INSANE WEEK! x0x I had no break in between so lunch was either none or I had to sneak it. In the morning, I taught my first little kid class of the year: Dazzled by Disney.  I had them for five days, for four hours at a time.  That’s a lot.  But, my friend made an AWESOME poster of all the Disney movies we were going to talk about and a Pixar one for Friday.  I will add the photos below.  😀  I pointed to each one with my magic one, said some fun facts and how old they were (like Mickey and Minnie are 85 years old this year and were both originally voiced by Walt himself!), and we did a game or craft with most of them.  The little kids were ages 6-8 so we had fighting, hugging, crying, flower picking, and that sort of stuff, but I really liked them and love teaching something I adore, Disney, to little ones.  It was A TON of prep though and I am not sure I will have time to do it next year with all my book stuff, but I would like to do this class again.  I had enough stuff for another 4 hour day (I had to skip crown making and SPEED through Pixar), but this is something I can fine tune.  In the afternoon, I went back to the 9-14 year olds and taught first Level Up Gamer!  We had a famous game series for each day and did a few crafts and games with them after learning their history and then watched an episode of their cartoon series at the end.  We did, in order: Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Mario, and Sonic. Friday, I brought in even MORE recyclables and they spilt in to 4 teams and made their own video games and levels. At the end, they got to use their characters and play thought their own levels and then everyone else’s.  I had a lot of creative students and talented artists, so it was awesome.  Plus, I was biting my tongue so hard to see these 12 to 13 year old boys get so excited and into playing with stick people through cardboard levels and having a blast! YEAY! xD  I always have fun in this class. The class literally RIGHT after this was my American Girls and Guys cooking class, based on the American Girls book series.  This is the fourth year in a row I have done this class for it has made every year.  I really like it, but it is a lot of work for it, again, is a cooking class.  First, they learn fun facts from each time period in American history (Colonial, Pioneer, Victorian, and World War II).  They then learn to write proper invitations and do one a day. I have a doll for the Colonial era and Victorian that I show off and books for each one.  We then cook a main dish, a drink, and a dessert along with playing at least one time period game and a craft.  They also get a cookbook with all the recipes in them so they can make them at home.  On Friday, I teach them how to curtsy or bow, how to be a good host and server, and we invite their parents and have a café’ where we cook for them and entertain them. Normally, I have like 8 parents; this year I had 20!  0.o  I am so glad Alesha was my aide in this class and watched the front while I watched the cooks.  But, the parents seemed to have fun as well.  I hated that I had a terrible migraine that whole day so being upbeat was hard.  🙁   This class had its ups and downs, like the boys fighting over bread crust and then being reckless and BREAKING my glass Pampered Chef Lemon juicer that cost $19! >.<  The school feels bad about it, but it’s not THEIR fault.  My measuring cup cracked too (but it was only a $1, so I was not worried about that).  Again, I really like this class, but this is the class I have never had a break from so I think I will retire it for a year or two and then, like Michael Jordon, bring it out retirement and make it awesome again.  The clean-up for this class took over an hour each day so I rarely got home before 6:00 pm after being there at 7:00 am each day!  On that last day, we had EXTREME clean-up and putting up all the supplies to do so Alesha and I shut the door after the last parent left and did, literally, a MAJOR happy dance! 😀 She got SO happy that she spun under me and picked me up, twirling me a few times! 0.o  I was so surprised by this that I grabbed my knees and started laughing until I cried.  She fell to the floor and joined me soon later.  🙂  We had a good time and look forward to next year, but we were so happy we survived.

The next day, that Saturday, we, Alesha and I,  went to a spa and treated each other to half hour massages by a professional.  It was such a nice place, very cozy and only cost $30 for 30 minutes, which is reasonable. The guy was fantastic and he was SO funny! ^_^  We had so much fun talking about my name (he wanted to name a little girl Morgan), grammar, writing, and more.  They even had a cute little coffee shop I want to try next time.  I am FOR SURE going back! 🙂  We then went to get some local food, which was also very good and reasonable, where we talked and laughed a lot.  After we said our good-byes, I got gas and was by this newish clothing store in my town, Rainbow.  I have been DYING to go in there and decided to.  I spent 90 minutes in there! 😀  It, literally, IS A RAINBOW OF COLOR! I tried on 13 different things and ended up getting 3 amazing dresses, all affordable and two on sale.  There were 3 black dresses I liked so much, I could not pick one so I left them all there and hope one will go on sale in a few weeks when I go with one of my girlfriends.  The cuteness is that of Wet Seal, Rue 21, and Forever 21, but the sizes are for normal women, like JCPenny’s; I was between a Medium or Large depending on the company where as in Rue 21 for example, I am a Extra Large, no matter what and that makes me sad! 🙁  Their prices are like JCPenny’s sales too, but MOST of the time!  I also got a little white hat and a chocolate and Carmel colored scarf.  I have so many scarfs that I hardly wear, so I am going to make myself wear 1 scarf a week and 1 dress or skirt to school each week so I will use them.

Finished my College for Kids items today and all I need to do is attend the meeting Thursday and then I say good-bye until next year.  I have another few weeks of summer left (like 2.5); I plan to work on my book, relax, and do a few final fun things with family and friends! 😀  BE PREPARED WORLD!  All my 60ish Natsu Con videos are now on my Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/sakurastar07) (, so please check them out and my Natsu Con blog, later this evening or tomorrow morning.  My husband and I are going to watch the new Whose Line is it Anyway at 8:00/9:00 pm tonight on the CW!  OH HOW I LOVE THESE FUNNY MEN!!! 😀

You guys take care and thanks for still checking my site; it was so nice to have comments saying “Where are you?”  LOL! *huggles* <3

Hey there!  Hi there!  Ho there! 🙂  Where has June gone.  I blink and poof!  No more, it slipping through my fingers like a balloon on a windy day. It’s been about 2 weeks guys!  Good golly, Miss Molly, I’m sorry about that but I have been working nonstop cleaning house and finishing up all my summer school plans and set up, which starts Monday.  My program is called College for Kids or CFK (and YES, I know it is KFC flipped, but we do not teach four weeks about chickens!  >.<) and it is a lot of fun for the kiddos, but a TON of work.  I have 3 new classes this year, which is a lot, so root for me please.  PLUS, Natsu is in the middle of all of this because they had to move their con date a month from last year…-_-;;  Not.  Cool! But, I will do my best and still have fun.  ^_^  I have also been editing.  Chapters 7-9 are looking fine, but 10 I am worried about for it is long and detailed, but, I will be working on that today and tomorrow.  Getting close to halfway done with first edits.  Not sure if that makes me happy or not for I still have half of it to go…:(  I DID get past that Sora boss I was stuck on and now I am on the final boss with Riku on the second to last world (finished Sora’s).  MAN!  This plot is think and confusing!  I hope it will be explained more clearly at the end of the game.  I also had to help my brother clean his room for two days.  It looks SO much better and we had so much fun finding all our original Power Rangers, Pokémon, He-Man/She-ra, and other nerdy awesome toys!  I icon is inspired on that and the Youtube information below. My hubby and I also celebrated our 2 year anniversary.  We dressed up, ate good food (we were the ONLY ones in the place), had bad pie, watched our WHOLE wedding video and commented on everything, laughing, exchanged gifts (I got all practical stuff: a heating pad, a new door coat rack, and a pink Sailor Moon tote bag.  I got him a Minecraft foam Axe, a Crusade helmet mug, and the new Halo 4 DVD, all FUN stuff…something is off here…0.0).  But, we had a great time and I love him more and more each day.  OH!  I also wrote him two poems, hehehe!

I updated my “To be a nerdy Otaku” section a little and of coarse, added a new top ten.  For the next month, they will be themed based on what I am teaching at College for Kids.  My first week will be Around the World type classes.  Please check out the top ten and to my anime fans out there, I hope the icons make you smile. ^___^  Please also check out my Youtube channel.  I will be adding either today or tomorrow the videos of my friends and I doing Smosh’s Pokémon video challenge.  We had a blast and yes, I am wearing my Smosh shirt.  🙂  You will have to turn your audio up to hear us, but once you do, I hope you have some enjoyment out of it. There are 4 parts.  PLEASE subscribe or add all my social medias.  It would help a lot!  😀

Well kids, I have tons of errands to do.  Stay safe, smile with your eyes closed, and help a turtle cross the street.  Peace!
