Hello everyone! I hope all my home slices out there are enjoying your summer with rad people, safe, but epic adventures, and refreshing treats. I figured for the latter half of 2020, this oddball of a year, I would do a mini series of Top Tens surrounding a central theme: cartoons. Everyone knows I love anime, but I also have this deep passion for all types of animation born into my bones. I grew up watching colorful worlds, eager to awake Saturday morning for new episodes. And like so many others, their stories spoke to my soul and made happy memories and connections to others I still treasure today.
So, each month from now until December of this year, I will do six top tens. And this month is two mini ones fused together: my Top 5 Cartoon Network animated shows AND my Top 5 WB shows (although I did get my first exposure to dubbed anime here with Pokemon, Cardcaptors, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, which I am grateful for, I am including non-anime ONLY on this list).
On EACH list, please recall I am in my early 30’s peeps. So if there were different shows on in your lifetime, that’s great. But these are the ones I recollect.
Without delay, let’s let the cartoons play! <3
