Author to Author Q and A:
1. Where did you grow up? Did your childhood have any impact on your writing? I grew up in St.Charles, MO at Hawks Nest Condominiums. My childhood was the most impacting factor in my becoming a Writer. I had “The Masque of The Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe. I sat back in Spellbound Wonderment at Poe’s style and The Passion of the Written Word. It woke up everything in me and told me that I am to be a Writer. I asked how and it said “Let me show you” and I have followed it ever since and always will. I’ve spent the rest of the time piecing myself together.
2. Tell us about the first story you ever wrote, published or not? The first story is called “Marian” it remains unpublished.
3. What are you currently working on, writing-wise? My Cemetery Book with a good friend, Book of Horror Poetry, The last two books in my Vampire Series, then my Horror story for kids “Molly Keeps A Zombie Story.”
4. What is your favorite character you have ever created and why? Nichole Marie- The main Vampire Protagonist in my Vampire Trilogy. She is very dynamic and has a powerful taste for the Undead life and she is my Favorite. 🙂
5. Do you have to write in order or do your ideas just come to you and you put them in order later? They come to me and come from within and they tend to organize themselves.
6. What was your path like until you found writing? Filled with Art, Nature, Magick, and growing desire for Horror, Terror, and Romanticism.
7. How is your relationship with your publishing company? Wonderful and Amazing for both of them. I love them, the other authors in them who are fantastic and highly talented People. I am very fortunate to be part of J Ellington Ashton Press with Cat Danham and DarkMoon Press with Eric Vernor.
8. Tell us about your covers. “Once Upon A Grave” has an eerie female with an intense countenance amidst red lightning and a dark background. The title looks and has a sense of ominous. “Empath The Sensitive Human” has two hands adjoined in a friendly manner that suggests caring and compassion. The background colors are soft, open, and welcoming. Both possess a strong and inviting feel.
9. What inspires you to write? A love of Horror, Terror, and Romanticism, and for The Passion of the Written Word. The need to connect with as many people like a can. To heal with my voice and unite with my words.
