For the past year and a half, I am so blessed to get to be a part of a local Girls Otaku Group (all of us over 21.) Having people in your life that share your passions, are there for you, and become more than friends, but family is a treasure like no other. And that is what these fine ladies are to me. I am beyond grateful for them every day. ^_^
What we do is once a month, we get together, someone being hostess. They select games, our food theme, what anime they want us to watch, and what manga we will read that month for a ‘book club.’ I enjoy all these components because anime and manga series is so vast and we all have different interests and backgrounds. It is a peek into what the hostess likes and helps expose us to more amazing titles.
So, I wanted to make a list of the Top Ten Manga they introduced me to and that I would/will like to continue. My selections from when I was in charge are not listed since I had already read the ones I chose. But I still recommend them! I chose: Stepping on Roses, Full Moon, and Milleuenm Snow. 🙂
To ring out 2021, grab a friend, whatever makes you happy, and gaze at the sky, happy you are a part of this world. I know I am glad you are! ^_^
