Movies give us an escape from reality or make us think. Actors are needed for this transporting form of media. All are talented, but some are beyond stars; they are legends, meant to kindle a flame of love and connection to a nation without them trying. They are just that natural.
Robin Williams is one of those souls. Everyone I know has an attachment to him like a beloved uncle. He knew how to touch hearts and make others laugh and smile, seeing how healing it was. Despite all, he went through in his own life. He is proof of how strong the love of helping others with our gifts, no matter our own struggles, can change the world. He will always be in my heart.
Derrick and I have our 11-year wedding anniversary this year and both of us cherish Robin Williams. Each year, I do a top ten in the month of June for him. Why not spread our love to everyone?
