Back in June, I did a Top Ten of my Favorite “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series to celebrate my anniversary with my husband since we are dear fans of the show. Years later, Nick continued this groundbreaking franchise by making a continuation series, set after the original Avatar, Aang, passed away. This one follows the new Avatar, Korra, who is opposite in every manner, lol!
Now that September is my hubby’s birthday month, it is only fitting Korra be this top ten.
This show was slightly more mature in tone but still rich in character creation, lore, twists, humor, philosophies, and connecting the classic while giving us a fresh show to sink our teeth into.
