- Where did you grow up?
Did your childhood have any impact on your writing? I grew up in Keokuk, Iowa.Yes, because I was abused as a child by my father and I wrote about it later in life.
2. Tell us about the first story you ever wrote, published or not.
I wrote a story in the eighth grade about Arthur Ash the tennis player. It was a short story about his tennis career. I never had it published but it was several stories I had written in the past.

Myself because I was the one who wrote the story about myself. no yes.

Teresa Dunn was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and raised in Keokuk, Iowa.
An eighth-grade teacher in Keokuk Junior High read one if Teresa’s works and encouraged her to keep writing. Following High School, Teresa chronicled her life’s struggles in a journal where
she also wrote poetry.
Teresa Dunn is a wife and mother of two adult children, one dog ,and one cat. Still living in Keokuk, Teresa is busy working on her third volume of verse.
