Welcome to 2022 you magical girls and wizards! What better way to start off our yearly top tens for this new year than to combine two of my favorite things: my beloved and first anime and manga series AND nerdy fashion!

I have done Cardcaptor Sakura lists in the past on this site AND GeekyKool’s, from my favorite costumes from the original series to the best combat cards to couples (Sakura and Li FOREVER! OTP!). So, it’s only a matter of time before the colorful stylings of Ms. Tomoyo were ranked once again in the newest arc of this kawaii, enchanting series. Tomoyo (or Madison from the OLD school English dub I grew up with) is a queen and talent with design and function to make her bestie look like the magical superhero she really is. Are the cosplays for these adventures needed? Nope. Do they make it better? Absolutely! It just adds more flavor and flair to an already sweet story.

I must admit; overall, these outfits are not as good as the ones from the original 90’s animes/movies or manga (some of the same outfits are in both.) Yet, the creativity and fun are there.
