Welcome to my world, minna-san! 😀 I am so delighted that the first interview I got to give for 2022 is my sister from another mister, Julie! I have known Julie since high school, but we started getting very close after I got married. She is a real inspiration to me, one of the strongest people I know, inside and out. Julie can handle herself and is always there when I need her, never judging, only loving with her huge heart. She has been through troubled waters, but isn’t afraid to show her emotions and learns from everything. Plus, she is as fun as heck! We always have a blast together, be it crafts, our Otaku Girls Group meetings, game nights, Pokemon events, anime conventions, or going out to eat. She is the other half of my soul, the yang to my yin, the dark to my light. We complete each other and sure get lots of looks when we walk side-by-side, laughing, lol! I love her to pieces! And I know you will too.
Now, let me introduce you to my beautiful dark gem, my dragon knights, my soul sister, who is a treasure, a creative woman (she does beta reads and gorgeous fanarts for me and my book characters I cherish,) my rock in hard times, and one of the best huggers in the world: Ms. Julie (J.A.) Niemann!
#1. What are your three favorite memories of us together?- The one, and so far only, the time we tried to make Dango together came to mind first. It was a, treading on new territory while dark and light personalities meet in the middle, sort of adventure! Haha! Still, despite not really knowing what, or even if, we were doing things completely right, we managed alright I think.
My first convention ever (meeting Vic Mignogna and J. Michael Tatum). There I was the equivalent of the virgin knowing the basic premise but not fully grasping the actual process required. There you are the veteran who still gets excited enough to nearly, as I described it, face planting the floor cause it just needed a hug when Vic came walking past and waved at you. I know it’s not even so much that you actually fell out of the chair or something as you slid some and the timing of the moment lined up really well with him walking past which made it seem like you had a fangirl fainting moment. Haha! It was just a highlight moment really aside from getting to meet both of them and just hang out in general.
Last, but not least, our Robin Hood everything/Perler creations night! It seems so mild, tame, and perhaps even seen as lame by the standards of some, but I think otherwise. To me, that was one of those calm, comfortable, mutual loves, no expectations except those we may have created for ourselves, bonding moments! Just enjoying a great character portrayed in different ways, with calm conversation while creating our own forms of art! I love those moments best!
#2. If you could go on a D and D style adventure with your three favorite anime characters, who are they and what sort of antics do you think would ensue?-
Man, where to even start!? Sooo many to choose! I’ve gotta give myself a limit, let’s say three only, or I’ll go crazy here! Haha! Sesshomaru for sure, Sebastian and Elias! That’s like the epitome of the indifferent, maniacal and innocent slapped together with an overall dark aspect thrown in on some level to create a whole group dynamic thing. Like Elias would be all curiously investigating every new thing like a curious monster man child. Sesshomaru would be indifferent about most things but curiosity about strong or unique things would at least get a side glance. Sebastian would be like, let me calmly kick this creature that dares to presume it’s actually a demon worthy of my presence, ass with a seductive, yet dark smirk gracing my features. Cause he’s “Simply one hell of a demon (butler)” I’m pretty sure it was demon in the manga but butler in the anime though. Might be thinking wrong on that. Either way, I’d see Chaotic all across the board with some neutral concepts on the occasion and very rarely some slightly good from at least Sesshomaru and Elias. Haha! All protective though for varying reasons and all adequately dark and creepy enough to sufficiently make any adventure one I’d love!
#3. Describe the perfect dinner of only cheese dishes.
Um….everything of course! Duh! Haha! Ok, ok, I’ll try for a real, more condensed answer. Let’s see…
I love my shell mac and cheese, the Velveeta or Deluxe ones, best. They be creamy, cheesy delicious!
Mashed potatoes with shredded cheese, sour cream and chives! (Too many carbs is bad, but it tastes oh so good! Haha!)
Broccoli and rice covered in melted yummy cheese sauce!
Last, but not least, a grilled cheese sandwich with marinara for dipping privileges!
#4, How does drawing help you?
It’s a bit of a situational answer really. When my depression hits, depending on the how and why as well as the level of good or bad that it may be, drawing might occur. Sometimes it comes out as this dark, sad or angry, looking thing that I might get, but others might not. Other times it’s happier while still having that sense of darkness that I adore so much. Still other times its characters from things I like/love or ones I’ve made up myself. (Examples being my “Cosplay Capers” squad! There are only six of them so far and only five that have actually been fully drawn and colored. Minima the fox (He’s the main and only consistent character), Elgar the dragon, Dex the otter, Naluna the wolf, Willow the baby bear, and Jess the momma bear. (Jess isn’t actually done though.)
#5, What inspires your writing?
Life. My own twisted mind. People, both known and unknown. Experiences, both good and bad. What if scenarios, some of which could actually occur and others that aren’t really possible. Sometimes random ideas can pop into my head because of something happening in real life even though the real-life events aren’t even the same as the idea itself. Other times it can literally hit me out of nowhere and still other times I can hear a song and then, bam, idea. I’ve even had moments where my mind, fall all intents and purposes, is blank and then slam idea! Haha! I have to try to write it down right then and there or I WILL forget later. I love creating people and worlds outside of reality. Not to bring a downer in or sound like I’m reaching for pity (I’m not one for pity personally) but reality has dealt me a rather bad hand throughout my life pretty consistently, so being able to make worlds were bad does still happen but those moments of good still shine brighter, are huge to me! So the short version is that my own tragedy and severe depression-induced existence has allowed me to create other worlds. Whether they get published officially or by my own hand or not at all, they still exist. Sometimes that’s enough.
#6. Can you tell us about your current books and what you want to write next?
Oh man….how much time do we have!?! Haha! No really! Get me started and it can be hard to stop me! This one relates to the previous answer I gave really.
Let’s see if I’m actually able to keep this short instead of it being as long as it usually would end up. As of now, I’ve self-published two books, still working on getting a third done. It was supposed to be published earlier this year (2021) but some technical issues caused it to get delayed and they haven’t been resolved as of yet. The first book I published was book one of a trilogy called The Black Series. Julia Black is the protagonist of the series and everything is told from her perspective. Book one, Black Descent, was officially re-released (I had missed a number of errors and just had to fix them) in April 2020, though originally had been released in 2018. The largest of the trilogy so far (I haven’t even started the third and final book and the second one was only just over 300 pages long) at 604 pages with about 594 of those actively being the story itself. Julia is a woman who, from the beginning of the book, has to deal with her entire world-changing. She is left to die after some brutal events only to wake up as something she once thought merely to be myths and legends, a vampire. (I know, everyone has done the vampire thing, but I was once told that there’s no such thing as an original idea and all you can do is try to add your own twist the best you can to an already done idea. I believe you said something along those lines anyway, Morgan!) I don’t want to give too much away, but “Black Descent” though a full-scale horror fest for grammar Nazi types has a good story concept at least and even pulls real-life historical figures into it but adds my own twist to them.
One example (a personal favorite actually) is that of Jack the Ripper. The infamous, and to this day unknown, a serial killer of the White Chapel district of London’s East End back in 1888. There have been many theories on who he/she was, most involve a male, likely with a medical background due to the method of the murders, but there’s never been any official identity revealed about who Jack the Ripper actually was or why the murders stopped. I took some of the actual facts, such as that the five known victims (there were others that were speculated as other victims, but never really fully proven for sure, and even had they been it was the five in particular that were canonical) were all female prostitutes, their throats cut, and the bodies mutilated (specifically their uteruses and kidneys removed among other organs. However it often seemed to portray abhorrence for the female gender in its entirety.) Well, I took what has become known as one of the most infamous mysteries, which is still investigated on some level to this day, and twisted it just enough to be able to add my own thoughts and changes to it to appropriately place it into my book. Fun fact, in “Black Descent” my main villain, is called Ripper and yes there’s a reason for that.
Now before I rant further, quick information about the second book I self-published; “Gemini Immortalis” which was released in February of 2020. This one was actually a book being written with one of my best friends (I have several) Logan Camden, who died in November 2019. We had only written about 40 pages and I decided to finish the book in honor of him. Let’s see if I can actually summarize this one better than the last one. Haha! Basically, you’ve got twins, a boy, and a girl, who are born into a cursed family. The curse only affects twins but can carry them down through the generations in any blood relative. The catch, only twins can break the curse just as only twins actively have the curse. The age normally until their 18th year then bam, instant stop! No more aging. Immortality at its finest and yes legit immortals that can’t die unless someone could quite literally disintegrate every tiny little microscopic molecule that makes them, them! The book starts during the Salem Witch Trials where one of the twins is burned at the stake as a witch. Her ashes reform later thus allowing the siblings to continue in their life and a good 1000 years goes by where they then end up in future Tokyo, Japan. Had either one reproduced then-new twins been born, the curse would’ve left them and gone into the next twins. They did not and so they outlived all the other past twins in their family amassing a large fortune in the process and establishing themselves as some of the top billionaires in the world. The book covers their time in Tokyo, expanding on the curse and eventually reaching a conclusion allowing the book to be a one-and-done sort of deal. (It’s honestly my favorite)
The last book I finished but have yet to publish is the second book of the Black Series, “Black Ascent” which continues Julia’s story, though it takes place a good 80 years after the events of the first book. In the future, I hope to finally get the technical issues handled and publish “Black Ascent” so I can then write and publish the third book, “Black Revolution” as well as a fourth book that is from a perspective other than Julia’s of the events that occur in “Black Revolution” That fourth book will be the final one in the Black Series and will be called, “Black Revolution: Archer” Beyond that I only really have one other series of books I’d love to actually get back to called “Clorana” which I started years ago but never really finished due to writer’s block at the time.
#7. You are one of my biggest supporters and I am beyond grateful for it! ^_^ May I ask why you like them and who are your five favorite characters and why (all of my books are on the table for this one?)
They’re both relatable and allow for me to have to try and imagine a world outside reality and my own head. I love that some allow glimpses of things I grew up knowing (Spirit Vision) due to the descriptions of teachers or locations (I was stoked when I called it about Mr. Polk!) while others allow for a world like my own while still being separate from it (Hunter and Bringer–my personal favorite of your books, no offense every other book! Whoo Team Jeremey!)
I love that they include mythology in a lot of them as well. (Mythology was one of my favorite classes in high school.) That doesn’t take away from those that are more realistic; albeit sadder in some cases (I still feel the feels big time over the Christmas one. *Clutch chest with painful sobs*), it simply draws me in more quickly and with an added, I guess, flare, when it does have mythological something’s in it!
Top five favorite characters…oof…ok obviously Jeremey, Val, and Umbra are in there, but let me just organize my own thoughts and get the actual order laid out here….hmmm…ok, ok so Jeremey (duh) is number one. Then Val is a very close second. The third is Frankie (totally still my BFSM for life!) Fourth is Stary. Fifth, but certainly not least, is Kesler! That kid is just damn adorkable!
#8. Tell us about your adorable fur baby!
Zelda! No not the 80’s fantasy game, though that is where her name came from. My Zelda is my fur baby, puppy dog! She’s so not a puppy in age terminology, but let’s face it, to animal lovers, they always gonna be puppies or kitties even when they are old, wrinkly, gray, and potentially walking into walls as the case may be for some. My girl is half black lab half-husky mix. She has the black fluffy fur of the husky, the floppy lab ears, and the attitude of a bit of both. Though the way she tells me no and argues with me, I’m thinking she takes a bit more after her husky side than her lab side. That girl is smart as hell too! Sometimes she gets spoiled and if John (my brother) or I get Jack in the Box and get her a plain hamburger just for her, she knows! Oh man she knows the difference between when there’s one for her in that bag and when there’s not before seeing anything! Haha! Or when I sit down to eat, she’ll lay her head on my leg and eyeball me, full-on puppy dog stare in the hopes I’ll cave and give her some. I usually don’t believe it or not!
My favorite part though is probably how much she legit misses me. When I get home if I don’t come inside fast enough in her opinion she’ll bark and whine as though scolding me then go freaking crazy when she actually can see and/or smell me! Even if I legit stepped out for all of like seconds at most, the reaction is like I had been gone for hours or days and not just seconds. It’s a good feeling to come home to that sort of reaction, though honestly, I’d like it better if I could come home to a furry reaction like that as well as a man reacting in a similar fashion, alas, I and my future of 20 dogs (only would really want like 5 at most) is much more realistic. Haha!
#9. If you were a Pokemon Gym Leader, what would your type(s) be, your dream team of six, and how would the building look (inside and out) to challenge trainers? GO PRISM LEAGUE!
Super-duper easy to answer! Dark-type and water type for the win, with Psychic and Fire coming in at 3rd place. This next part will cause me to pause a bit, at least for some of them. The first few are easily chosen, it’s the last of them I gotta think about. Greninja is definitely my number one partner! He’d be my version of Ash Ketchum’s Pikachu! Haha! The rest would be Zoroark, Houndoom, Feraligatr, Sableye, and Malamar (If Legendary are allowed Yveltal would definitely be one of my six, but I sort of figure they’re not so as such my list doesn’t include my beloved destruction Pokémon.)
As for how the building itself would look, black! Lots of black! Outside it would be like what my brother and I used to call the Darth Vader building when we lived in New Mexico. I don’t remember much other than it was really tall and all black. Haha! I so had to look it up and I believe it is actually called The Citadel, which from my bit of Google searching apparently is in fact also legit known as the “Darth Vader Building” I find this funny for several reasons really, but that would take away from the Pokémon topic currently going on! Anyway, look that building up and that’s the essence of the outside of what would be my gym, except the white stripe around the top would be blue instead. The inside, also all black, but when walking in, eyes on the floor you see a reflection of what looks like a night sky. As your head tilts back to look up, bam, sure enough, the upper walls and ceiling do in fact look like the night sky, glowing stars and a moon included! With each person defeated, each step closer to the top it’s as though you’re leaving a darkened valley and rising up closer and closer to those shining stars (ha, see what I did there!) and eventually reaching that moon. The last elevator ascends up, up, and up again until finally, you arrive inside a room that looks like a reflection of the ocean depths themselves! The darkness surrounding you fading into blue with shimmers of light cascading in from the stars above and there in the middle stands a woman dressed in blacks that seem to fade into her surroundings. You hear music as you step toward her, “Sometimes it’s hard to know, which way you’re supposed to go. But deep inside, you know you’re strong. If you follow your heart, you can’t be wrong. Stand up! (Stand up!) For what is right. Be brave! Get ready to fight!”
10. You are hired to work on your three favorite video game series. You can be a writer, marketing, or voice actor, but only one job per franchise. Which job would go with your three beloved game choices?
Three game choices, Mass Effect is obviously my first choice, Dragon Age is my second choice and for my third choice….hmm…I have to legit think about that one some actually. So while I consider that third one I can answer the other part. I would definitely choose to be a writer for Mass Effect! The chance to influence the story of my favorite video game series like ever. To be able to actively help shape and create the worlds and people in them, hell yeah! That would be epic! So many ideas and possible characters could be brought to life and/or expanded on! I’d aim for marketing for Dragon Age! I’d rather be a writer for it as well but limits and all. Boo. Haha! Anyway the chance to show case the next parts of such an awesome game serious would just be too cool. Admittedly I’d probably be, not so good, at marketing, even with something I love, but I’d take a wack at it all the same!
Now for that third game choice…the Fallout series…I think I’d have to go with Fallout! I’d totally be all over doing a voice acting role as some new character in the series, hopefully, one that would have some depth and not just be a one-and-done type.
11. If you could be a milkshake flavor, what would you be and why?
Hhmm…I love banana milkshakes, but I’m not sure I’d be a banana milkshake….let’s see…maybe chocolate…sweet but oh man can I be sour and when that happens, look out! I can be such a pain in the ass! Haha!
12. Our sisterhood/friendship means the world to me. What does it mean to you and have I done/taught you anything?
It means everything. There are days that I just want to be left alone in general and I can openly admit to that. It isn’t about anything anyone, in particular, did to me so much as that I just need that me and my alone time kind of thing.
I’ve been taught a number of things from you, some of which others may be like “wha?” about. Haha! I’ve learned patience where I used to have none, which is huge and still a work in progress for me for sure. I’ve learned to improve as a writer myself because of you. I’ve actively caught myself writing something and it would be similar to your writing style. I have to stop myself and tell myself that it’s totally awesome to have that sort of inspiration born of such an awesome person, but that I need to put more me or more of my character into it and less Morgan. That sounds bad, but I don’t mean it in a bad way at all. It’s like in Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket being his conscious and all that. Similar concept. Sometimes a question such as, “Would Morgan smile about this?” sort of thing will come to mind and it will cause me to stop or think more about the situation. That’s a good thing, I think.
Questions Julie Asked Me:
- If your main characters were part of the Sohma family and cursed with a zodiac curse, how do you think they would handle it?
First off, I have to say: I LOVE all these questions! So thoughtful, nerdy, and creative! Excellent job, girl! 😉
For those of you who don’t know, “Fruits Basket” is a beautiful anime/manga about a kind-hearted girl who discovers her classmate and his family are under a curse, where if the cursed Sohma is sick, stressed, or hugged by the members of the opposite sex, they turn into one of the 13 animals (yes, there are 13) in the zodiac.
If they were born with it like in the show, then I believe Jeremey would make it work, like Ayame. LOL! But, since he flirts a lot, it would be challenging. But, he would make it work like a runway model! Val, my main girl from “The Hunter and The Bringer…” I think it would depend on how she was brought up. It would be part of her life, but I think she silently would be a warrior against the cruelty of some of the higher up in the family, protecting the younger ones in the family. Umbra from “Spirit Vision,” would DEFINATELY fight the system! LOL! He would be wild I feel, almost like a male Rin, the dark horse, but deep down, he has a good heart and wants to be loved. Our little shining light and Spirit Warrior, Stary, I think would be grateful for her little blessings, but the worry of troubling her family would make her shy, like Kisa. She would not realize how much light she gives to others.
- If Val could be a mutant from “The X-Men,” which power do you think she would have?
All right, “X-Men” rule! I cosplay as Shadowcat. Val is very kick-butt and smart. I think it would neat if she would maybe touch a weapon and become a master at it right away, or be able to levitate/float and project or control wind, this helping her pin monstrums to slay them. It would match her spiritual candle that Madame Edric sensed: the yellow wind one.
- What inspired you to write “Spirit Vision” back in the day?
I have always been shy, especially when I was younger. Verbally, it was hard for me to express myself, so written words and overactive imagination were my comfort and friends. I started with poetry. Then, I was told my ninth-grade ELA teacher I would make a good character in the book he was writing. It made me chuckle, thinking this over-the-top man could write a book! It made me want to try and I even took Creative Writing with him, where he told me to study my spelling and grammar because my ideas were good. So, I used two of my current loves at the time, “Sonic the Hedgehog: Adventure 2” and stories about a girl falling in love with a spirit (it was a popular genre at the time.) I had all the ideas for a story flooding into my head quickly. It took me about four years to finish it from ages 15-19, between dating Derrick and school. It took another four years and 39 rejections until my dream of publication came true, but I was determined and I am so glad someone saw good in my world and my writing that is my love.
- How much of yourself and people in your life inspires your characters?
A huge part! There are so many amazing characters in the world. Many of my characters inspired by people in my life, especially in “Spirit Vision” since I was in high school when I wrote it. I have a few fictional characters as muses too woven in my pages. For my female leads, I do put myself in them to some point. Stary is very much based like high school me, but a bit braver and has cool powers. Val has my sarcastic side. I wish I was as strong and witty as her! Mina from “Dreaming For You” is a collective of my chaotic sides and bookworm self. Alina deals with heartbreak and her story is how I hope I would overcome it with love. All of them are nerds in some aspect too, lol!
- If “The Hunter and The Bringer” mashed with the world of “Animorphs,” what characters do you think the main characters would be?
Oooh! I dig Animorphs! Well, I could go with the OBVIOUS answers, then we would have spoilers, lol! ^_- So, I think Val would be a lion, a BA jungle warrior, but still a cat like her baby Socks, LOL! Jeremey? HA! The first thing that comes to me is a peacock! Now that image is stuck there! I think if I wanted opposites that are connected, I would pick swans, a black swan, and a white one.
- What class, race, and background from “Dungeons and Dragons” would the main characters in your new series be?
YES! D & D! HUZZAH! 😀 All righty, this will be fun!
*Val- I would say a high-elf, circle of the moon druid (chaotic good.) Good at everything a little bit.
*Jeremey- Definitely a bard, flirty nature of course! LOL! Most likely a high elf too. I think he would be neutral good or lawful neutral.
*Stary- I think maybe an aasimar, an angelic being. I could see the paladin for the holy patron and healing/light warrior powers. I can see her being lawful good.
*Umbra- I can see either an Artificer or Warlock, depending on if he wants to go for the inventor aspect or his ‘magic-like” abilities and he also would be dedicated to a patron (God.) Lawful Chaotic or Neutral chaotic.
- Its the zombie apocolypse (like “The Walking Dead” where they are not so fast moving and dumb,) and you can pick two people, one real and one from your books, which two would you add to your team?
Ah, ha… You know I am terrible with zombies! For book characters, I most likely would pick Val since she isn’t afraid of combat and has experiences with monstrums (but, fun fact! In my world, zombies are just a myth!) If it was more of a storyline where holy powers could affect them, I bet Stary or Umbra would be good pics too. For real life, I most likely would pick someone who is resourceful and smart, like my dad or Tabby.
- Which card from “Cardcaptor Sakura” is your favorite?
Oh my! This is a hard one! I like all of them truly, yet if I had to pick one, I would say Fiery. It is powerful and I love the sizzling energy. Plus, she looks so radical!
I actually made a couple of lists about cards on my website, You can check them out here:
Top Ten Most Useful Clow Cards:
Top Ten Favorite (as of volume 8 of the manga) Clear Cards:
- If you could live in a musical world, which one would you want to be in?
Musicals are my jam! I have always wanted to be in a world where songs expressed feelings and everyone knew the lyrics, dance routines the norm, lol! I did a Top Musicals List on GeekyKool recently. If I could be in a musical world (I am thinking of stage shows or movie musicals, live-action; if I included animated films, we would be here for a week, lol!) If I had to pick one, I would say “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s: Cinderella (the 1997 TV movie!”) The songs warm my heart, the cast is diverse, the costumes are dazzling, the movie just incredible in every life. It makes me happy, sad, believe in love, and always heals my heart when I watch it!
- I know voice acting is something you love to do. What other job would you like to have, no restrictions?
I would love to be a voice actor! However, one job I always wanted that I haven’t really voiced to people until recently is a tour guide, especially at Graceland in Memphis or maybe Disney Tokyo. ^-^ I do hope one day to teach Japan for a year or so.
- If money was no object, what would your dream house look like?
I would say I would want a large house with several rooms. Maybe a light lavender color. Not sure if I would qualify as a mansion, lol! But I would love an open lobby with a large, roomy spiral staircase. A sparkling chandelier. Japanese bell and bamboo wind chimes making music outside. I would love an extremely warm-hued and welcoming living room, a nice spacious kitchen with all the works, but a traditional breakfast nook with benches and cushions to make it homey. I would love to have four guest rooms (those in different color schemes and flowers: blue, pink and red, purple, and green.) The bathrooms would have large tubs that I can even fit in with my long legs, lol! And plenty of cabinets and counter room! I would want a Greek mythology theme in each one. Socks would have her own little playroom right next to ours with all her stuff, ha! But a toybox on each floor and side of the house! 😉
All the other rooms would be roomy too and each one has a nerdy theme: classic cartoons, anime, Disney, Pokemon, Japan, literature, manga, game icons, and fantasy. Derrick and I would both have an office. We would have a room for all our collectibles, displayed neatly and protected. Then we would have an entertainment room with a few large screen TVs, all our consoles hooked up in different places. One TV would be just for watching with comfy and geeky recliners and couches. Another room will be the Game Room, a custom-made wooden table with a flat-screen TV embedded in it for our D and D maps, but a matching top where I can draw maps on it. All our board and card games with more tables would be there. I want a beautiful library with a bay window so I can view the world while I travel to another. I think I would want a manga and anime room, with lots of nerdy decors. A room just for my cosplay and crafts, so I can store them, sort my supplies, and I would want a table, a dress manikin, and a sewing set-up. All the closets would be spacious! Think the one in Princess Diaries or Hannah Montana, with a remote, a stage in the middle, and a mirror that gives me compliments like London Tipton! HA! I would want three closets: regular clothes, dressier clothes, and accessories (jewelry, purses, shoes, and hair.) Derrick will get a closet too of course, lol!
For my bedroom, I have always wanted a post bed you see in medieval castles, but with breezy curtains that are on the ends just for decore. Warm blankets and silk sheets. A bench bed like Princess Jasmine has at the end of the bed. A dress-up vanity with a spotlight mirror for me to get ready. Victorian style furniture. I want the walls to be colored like a galaxy, it getting darker as it goes up. The ceiling would be mural to space, the stars glowing in the dark our nightlight. I would love a balance like in Aladdin too, one overlooking a garden, but that has safety rails, lol!
Now, for a garden! I would love my own mini version of a botanical garden. A lovely Japanese garden complete with shrines. A Koi pond with a mini waterfall. A fountain that sprays water to a playlist of my favorite songs. Two gazebos: one a white, lacy Victorian and one a traditional, detailed Japanese style. I would be thrilled if I could have apple blossom trees, a wisteria tree, lavender fields, and of course, sakura trees! A river of colorful flowers would be a feast for my eyes. A wide yard with a nice patio with a large covering to block out the sun because of my lupus I think is a neat idea for parties. And my friends can bring their doggies to run around! If Socks would allow it (she is the queen,) we want an Akita! ^___^
