This year fellow nerds, I decided to do inventory and share my geeky collections and loves with all you lovely folks! Not only is collecting an expression of myself and a way to connect to my loved ones (such as Sarah and Cat got me into enamel pins and Julie into pearlers,) but I can form new bonds this way. It makes my comfort spaces, my safe havens more me and inspiring. Some pieces are gifts that hold memories. Some I earned. Some are ones that fill my heart and I supported a creator, something I empathize with as an author. And some are just plain fun and speak to me! Alesha and Sarah?
